On July 7th 2017, China Express Airlines’ new CRJ-900 regional jet took off from Montreal International Airport in Canada. After three days of flying, the aircraft finally landed in Chongqing on July 11th, 2017 at 2:57 am Beijing time. China Express Airlines now has a total of 32 CRJ-900 aircraft in its fleet. The CRJ-900 is a regional jet manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace in Montreal.
This was the second time AirLink Aviation Services was hired by China Express Airlines to help deliver an aircraft. As the only provider of international ferry flight services in Mainland China, this reflects AirLink Aviation’s dedication to customer service and satisfying our clients 100%.
The schedule was tight and there was considerable delay due to the July 4th holiday in the United States. Only five business days were given for preparation of all necessary procedures and documents, from confirmation of flight time to take-off.
Shortly afterward, AirLink Aviation employees monitored the aircraft’s movement 24/7. The ferry flight had to fly over the Pacific Ocean and Arctic Circle across Canadian, American, Russian and Chinese airspace. Thus, effective coordination with each country’s civil aviation agency was essential.
