On April 30, 2020, Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) released an explanation document concerning the CCAR-129 Operation Specification.
CAAC has taken on a “Green Channel” since May 1. Airlines that operate more than 10 flights during 12 consecutive months can operate under an exemption of the CCAR-129 Operation Specification. The exemption applies to airlines with previous CCAR-129 application records and CCAR-129 must be obtained within 30 days from the issuance of exemption for the 11th flight.
